Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing firm. Job responsibilities include:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and administration of trusts and estates.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Maintain and organize client files and records.
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in the estate planning process.
  • Coordinate and manage the probate process, including filing necessary documents with the court.
  • Assist in the preparation of estate tax returns and other related financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in trusts and estates.
  • Strong understanding of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
